One of the duties of a county clerk is to register voters who have filled out and signed the appropriate voter registration form. Earlier this year, Washington County Clerk Becky Lewallen began receiving voter registration forms that had been signed electronically.

The Arkansas Legislative Audit released a report on Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ purchase of a $19,029 lectern yesterday afternoon. The audit lists 7 different “areas of potential noncompliance with state law” by the Governor’s Office.

Another day in Arkansas, another ballot measure has been approved by the attorney general. Tim Griffin has approved a proposed amendment regarding the Freedom of Information Act. This comes just a day after Arkansas Citizens for Transparency filed suit against the attorney general for refusing to certify the language of their title.
