This November, Arkansas elected its first Latina state representative. Diana Gonzales Worthen will represent District 9, which is also Arkansas’ first majority Latino district. The Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and Associated Industries of Arkansas are joining forces again this year to host Arkansas’s portion of the 2025 National Civics Bee. Trish Villines coordinates the competition for the State Chamber and says it’s expanded from last year.
