Museum Celebrates Art of John Bell

Becca Martin Brown of the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette says painter John Bell Jr. spent his whole life capturing the history and magic of Arkansas. Some of his works are now on display at the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum. The exhibit runs through April 22.

Collectors' Day at Shiloh Museum

Every winter, the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History devotes a day to local collections. Becca Martin Brown, with the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, says this year's event will include carvings, buttons, safety razors and more. The collections, and collectors, will be at Shiloh Museum all day Saturday. There is no admission charge.

Shakespeare and More on Stage in 2018

Becca Martin Brown, features editor for the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, gives us a preview of Richard III this weekend in the Verizon Ballroom and the entire 2018 Fort Smith Little Theater season. Richard III, presented by Crude Mechanicals, will be performed tonight, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 in the Verizon Ballroom in the University of Arkansas Student Union. Admission is free with a suggested donation following the performance.
