About every four years, the University of Arkansas Fort Smith conducts an economic impact study. According to the latest report, the university had a $301 million impact in fiscal year 2016.

March 13-17 UAFS will offer a 40-hour, condensed course designed to prepare participants to pass the test to become licensed commercial drone pilots.

Students heading back to the University of Arkansas campus this week will have access to the recently opened Recreation and Wellness Center. The approximately $11.5 million project was a student-lead and student-funded initiative.

With roughly 500 veterans enrolled at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, the Student Veterans Resource Center is an oasis for those veterans to study and unwind on campus. It also serves as a clearinghouse for information and resources available for veterans.
