As part of Intersections, Northwest Arkansas's monthlong celebration of women in the arts, Stage Eighteen presents an evening of comedy with four women comedians- showing the continuing evolution of the area's stand-up comedy scene this Tuesday, April 24.

  

Continuing our spotlight on Intersections NWA, a monthlong celebration of women in the arts, we visit with theatre company ArkansasStaged regarding two upcoming productions.

The plays, Natural Shocks by Lauren Gunderson and An Old Woman Speaks based on poems from Sue Coppernoll, feature solo performances from women April 20 and May 2 respectively.

Now in its third year, Inverse Performance Art takes over Northwest Arkansas with a dizzying array of performances from local, national and international artists. 

When founder Cynthia Post Hunt stopped by to discuss this year's events we learned that Inverse owes a lot to a giant edible cupcake Post Hunt created for her first performance.
