Pianist Elizabeth Joy Roe first learned Benjamin Britten's Piano Concerto, op. 13, while studying at Julliard. She's returned to the explosive piece in her new recording and states that the work is "much more than an empty showpiece. Catch Roe's performance of the piece, along with the London Symphony Orchestra under Emil Tabakov, on Tuesday's program.
