The Chiara String Quartet follows up their compelling Brahms by Heart with Bartok by Heart, in which they play the entirety of Bartok's dense and seemingly chaotic six string quartets. I had a chance to chat with members of the quartet about the project and how it changed the way they approached the Hungarian master.
