After losing his right arm in the First World War, musician Paul Wittgenstein resolved to become a one-armed pianist. Since he lacked the gift of composition, he instead commissioned new "left hand" works from leading composers such as Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Franz Schmidt. Join us to hear Korngold's Suite for 2 Violins, Cello & Piano Left Hand, Op. 23 in its entirety tonight from 8 to 10 p.m. here on KUAF.
