Miklós Rózsa’s career spanned more than half of the 20th century and explored everything from concertos to film scores, but interestingly, only one symphony. “Symphony in Three Movements” was written when Rózsa was only 23, and it becomes clear when listening to the piece that his youth contributed to the emotional intensity from which it is composed.
