Hisham Matar's first novel was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize, and his second was a top pick by The Chicago Tribune and The Guardian. His most recent book, The Return, is a memoir about returning to Libya in search of answers to his father's disappearance. He talks tonight at the Fayetteville Public Library.
