Happy Holiday Programming from KUAF

We here at KUAF wish you the happiest of holidays and have these special holiday program offerings to share with you in this season of cheer- all broadcast from 11 to noon here on your public radio station.

Tune in Friday, Dec. 19, for "Chanukah in Story and Song" hosted by Leonard Nimoy and featuring the Western Wind for Ladino songs of Spanish Jews, Yiddish melodies of Eastern Europe and modern Israeli tunes.

Go baroque in "A Baroque Christmas in the New World" featuring music from 17th- and 18th-century Mexico, Peru and Bolivia Tuesday, Dec. 23.

Catch Handel's "Messiah" from this year's Washington National Cathedral performance, which draws some 6,000 concert-goers each winter Wednesday, Dec. 24. 

On Christmas day, Dec. 25,  join us for the annual "Tinsel Tales" broadcast, which brings together some of NPR's favorite holiday stories.
