Mary Jo Rose is the organizer of One Billion Rising, an event intended to spread awareness of the wide-spread violence against women. The third annual One Billion Rising event will take place February 12th at Main Stage Creative Community Center in Eurkea Springs. Donations will help support the Purple Flower Domestic Violence Resource Center in Berryville.
