Arkansas Nursing Students with DACA Status Find They're Unable to Take Licensing Exam

Some nursing students attending Arkansas schools have found that they are unable to take a licensing exam because of their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status. Sue Tedford, the executive director of the Arkansas Board of Nursing, explains why the board was not aware of the federal law that prohibits DACA students from becoming licensed nurses.
