News Director, Host of Ozarks at Large, Acting General ManagerKyle Kellams has been the news director at KUAF for 34 years and has been producing Ozarks at Large. The show began in a weekly format, then became a daily show. Kellams first started working in radio at KTLO in Mountain Home while in high school and also spent a year as news director at KKIX in Fayetteville before working at KUAF. During his time at KUAF, Kellams served as the radio play-by-play voice for the University of Arkansas women's basketball team and, on occasion, the U of A baseball team.

The national touring production of Disney’s "Aladdin" is on stage at Walton Arts Center through Sunday afternoon. This morning, Ozarks at Large's Kyle Kellams met the production’s Genie, Marcus M. Martin, in the Walton Arts Center. He said he's been readying himself for the role of the boisterous genie for a long time.

The first year of the UAMS Family Medicine rural residency program is nearing the completion of its first year. Participating residents in the program will spend more than 50% of their time in the program at hospitals in Carroll County. Ozarks at Large's Kyle Kellams visited with Richard Ryan, the president of the Springdale Veterans Memorial Organization, and Jeff Vinger, the treasurer of the organization’s board of directors. A planned memorial will use a five-acre field at the park at the corner of North Pump Station Road and Fleming Drive.
